Picking up where we left off last week...

This was our "home" for the night, tents around a fire under the Milky Way.  What more could I ask for?  My heart was content.  Had I known that things would only get better in the morning, I may have exploded as soon as the Milky Way showed up to our camp.  Not even kidding, spontaneous combustion on the spot.  But alas, the next morning was mind blowing.

We woke up at the crack of dawn.  No, that's not even true.  We woke up BEFORE the crack of dawn to be sure that we were up in time for when the sun awoke from it's slumber.  If you know me at all, you know I'm not a morning person.  At. All. For some strange reason, just like I'm able to hang over a cliff with my camera in my hands, I'm also able to bounce out of bed (or in this case my tent) at ridiculous hours when there's photos to be made.  Give me fog in a field and a beautiful woman to photograph and I'm awake!  And that's exactly what I had to work with.

Like I mentioned last week, Max and I will be officially expanding Breathless Boudoir to Charlottesville, Virginia in April.  We're booking Virginia boudoir sessions now.  Our studio will be based in Charlottesville and we'll be traveling to the surrounding areas including Arlington, Richmond, Roanoke, and Washington, D.C. frequently.  When we do sessions in those areas they will take place in boutique hotels as well as in client's homes.  We're looking forward to doing more outdoor fine art photography sessions like this one as well!

Don't worry Louisiana, we still have session available before we leave, AND we'll be back in June!  We're not going to leave you guys hanging!
